Hi! I am Ayush, currently a research scholar in Department of Physics here at IIT Kanpur. Currently I am working with Prof. Rohit Medwal at the Optospintronics lab. Group's focus is on application front of advanced spintronic devices as well as the underlying physics that govern them. My research interest covers the spintronic and spin texture based devices and their application in unconventional computing. To be more specific currently I am working on neat little devices called spin Hall nano oscillator (SHNO). SHNOs when injected with pure spin current exhibit auto-oscillations of magnetization. Apart from the academics I am interested in reading books, my interest in literature includes classic novels, autobiographies and also some non-fiction reads. I also have a keen interest in music, I mostly listen to the retro and indie. I like travelling and have been expanding the list of destinations and cities I have travelled to.
